Getting here

Plane

The nearest airport to Chamonix is Geneva, only an hour's drive away. Click on the Swiss link to book directly with them, and you will find other airlines online. We can arrange transfers between Chamonix and Geneva, or you can organise a private or shared transfer. Alternatively, you may choose to hire a car from the airport.

Car

Driving to Chamonix is relatively easy. If coming from the UK the drive from Calais is about 8 hours, mostly on autoroutes and then a dual-carriageway into Chamonix. In the resort, there is plenty of parking at all of our properties and the ski stations.

Getting Around

Private Transfer

We offer a chalet to mountain service in conjunction with our catered bookings, including a morning and evening drop off to make the most of your days on the mountain.

Bus & Train

There is a good local bus service around the town and to the various ski areas, alternately there is a train that runs up and down the Chamonix Valley between St Gervais-Le Fayet and Martigny in Switzerland. For the most accurate timings the Chamonix app.
